Job Classification: Hourly/Salary, Full-time
Supervisor: Quality Manager
Job Responsibility Summary: Voice of customers and processors. Staying involved with
necessary improvements of overall COPQ metrics.
Position Requirements:
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Metallurgical degree.
Minimum 2 years working with flat roll sheet or coil.
Minimum 6 months interacting with suppliers or customers.
Preferred knowledge of exposed inspection techniques.
Must be well spoken and able to work with all departments to implement change.
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment as well as multi-task.
Must be organized and capable of retaining records.
Ability to use measurement tools.
Must have Microsoft Office experience.
Job Duties Include, but not limited to:
Interaction with customers in resolution of non-conformances, continuous improvement,
new business opportunities.
Interaction with plant, suppliers, and processers in material dispositions and corrective
actions.
Drive root cause investigation and PCA implementations.
Disposition of held material.
Assisting with internal/external containments when necessary.
Write Customer and Vendor Claims
Acknowledge customer concern by the end of the day.
Communicate with the team if you are working on a claim so we are not working on the
same one.
Spec Approval
Lead on corrective actions / communicating and involving the Quality Manager /
Director of Quality.
Claims that need to be entered into customer portals.
Assist in Manufacturing Audits.
Any assignments given by Quality Manager / Director of Quality.
