Job Summary:
Responsible for activities regarding design, construction, modification and maintenance
of equipment and machinery in manufacturing so that throughput, inventory and
operating expense objectives are achieved. Inspects and repairs machinery and
equipment based on operating parameters, according to engineering principles and safety
regulations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
 Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for
and takes corrective action. Makes necessary corrections and equipment adjustments
to maintain maximum production and quality.
 Performs preventive maintenance on equipment that is not scheduled for
manufacturing to reduce downtime.
 Perform tool changes and set up in a timely manner.
 Provide production support.
 Perform waterjet tip changes and rehoming of robots.
 Perform coil changes on waterjets.
 Responsible for process set-up of press lines.
 Rebuild Normally Closed/Normally Open (N/C-N/O) waterjet valves.
 Thread and install black pipe and PVC.
 Rebuild ISO/Poly pumps.
 Performs troubleshooting functions.
 Diagnose and identify various types of hydraulic/hose fittings and repair/replace as
needed.
 Make and replace high pressure lines, including bending and threading.
 Basic electrical machine repair, i.e., heater/oven bulb replacement, sensor
replacement
 Make hydraulic and chemical hoses using hydraulic crimping tool.
 Tests newly installed or refurbished machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment to
specification and safety.
 Notifies supervisor of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken,
quality problems, and supplies needed.
 Train and help guide maintenance personnel in other maintenance classifications.
 Documents equipment breakdown/activity and provides reports as requested. Uses
reports to analyze opportunities for improvement.

including utilizing computerized maintenance management programs; maintains
detailed recordkeeping in support of maintenance management system.

Qualifications:

 Three to five years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in automotive interior
systems.
 Must possess solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and
electrical.
 Complete understanding of all press lines and processes; be able to successfully
operate all machinery.
 Proficient troubleshooting skills.
 Strong mechanical aptitude.
 Ability to make decisions independently or within a group setting.

 Basic understanding of electricity, including three-phase.
 Strong welding skills (MIG).

Job Summary:
Responsible for activities regarding design, construction, modification and maintenance

Also responsible for electrical work, troubleshooting and programming activities
regarding design, construction, modification and maintenance of equipment and
machinery in manufacturing throughout for inventory and operating expense objectives
are achieved.
Duties/Responsibilities:
 Adhere to plant safety requirements as established by company policy.
 Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and
takes corrective action. Makes necessary corrections and run adjustments to maintain

 Assists in the development and training of maintenance personnel in the area of controls
systems.
 Assists in the planning of updates, modifications, and continuous improvement of the
existing controls system including robotic programs, ladder logic programs, relay logic,
electrical distribution, motor controls, operator interface, hydraulics, and pneumatics
distribution and control.
 Check maintenance technicians' work and assist during assembly.
 Design and develop software applications based on specifications of new concepts.
 Develop electrical bill of materials.
 Diagnose and identify various types of hydraulic fittings and repair/replace as needed.

 Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
 Proficient in programming logic controllers (PLC), Allen-Bradley and Siemens.
 Proficient with Servo drive reading and understanding (electrical, hydraulic)
 Self-starter, team player, works well with others and has a positive attitude.
 Strong all-around welding skills (MIG, TIG, Arc).
 Experience in RSLOGIX, Siemens, various robotic knowledge.
 Experience with Robot programming - ABB, Fanuc, Motoman.
 Experience with Vision Systems programming desired - Keyence and SICK.
 Experienced in configuring and designing HMI systems - Allen-Bradley and PC.
